How to improve stress control
How to improve stress control? That is the common question to every one. Life can be so stressful sometimes especially when it involves finances like work. But here are a few tips that I want to share here today. This is not my original. I just learned this by reading about health.
1. Give your partner or your loved ones a hug every day before work. Studies show this simple act can help you remain calm when chaos ensues during your day.
2. Have a good cry. It can boost your immune system, reduce levels of stress hormones, eliminate depression, and help you think more clearly. I do think crying can help reduce stress. Sometimes, I just like to feel the pain so I can get closer to God.
3. Twice a day, breathe deeply for three to five minutes.
Do you grind your teeth at night
Do you grind your teeth at night too? According to Wikipedia, “Teeth grinding or Bruxism is a condition, which is caused by the reflex chewing activity, which controlled by higher control in the brain. During sleep the reflex part is active, while the higher control is inactive, resulting in bruxism.” So, it just occurs during sleep.
It is believed that it is caused by abnormal bite, or abnormal alignment of teeth, stress, anxiety, anger, or frustration. I wanted to get a night guard or any program that could help me with this problem. Teeth grinding, however, can cause serious complications such as deafness, backache, reduce ability to open and close the mouth, difficulty in chewing, jaw pain, face pain or headache.
These are things that I learn How to minimize or prevent teeth grinding:
Avoid chewing gums
Avoid eating hard food
Reduce stress
Maintain good posture
Sleep on your back
Avoid caffeinated drinks

CHRISTIAN WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS
An Angel says, “Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn’t happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.”
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day not rushed.
4. Say No to projects that won’t fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and don’t clutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don’t lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can’t do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don’t use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good “Thank you Jesus.”
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!

GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
Why pumpkins for Halloween?
Why pumpkins for Halloween? Halloween Pumpkins originated from the Celts in Europe long time ago. They would carry a lantern when they walked on the eve of October 31. These lanterns were carved out of big turnips and the lights were believed to keep the evil spirits away. The children would carve faces in the turnips in which they called it “jack-o-lanterns. And when the early settlers came to America they found the big round orange pumpkin. And they thought it is much bigger and colorful than turnips, so they made great “jack-o-lanterns” out of pumpkins, which eventually replaced the turnip. And now, we have pumpkins for Halloween.
As the settlers spread across America they took their Halloween celebrations with them. The custom of the “jack-o-lantern” would travel with them. Eventually the Pumpkin would become the most widely recognized symbol of the Halloween holiday.

How to make sure if a site is safe to browse?
How to make sure if a site is safe to browse? Nowadays, spyware, malware, Trojan horse, virus, etc, are really rampant in the net. I’m always careful in browsing the net especially if I do important and confidential transactions like using my credit card, paypal and stuff like that. I was glad to have free McAfee security suite from my ISP. It works really great! Today, there are many applications of e-commerce such as home banking, buying stocks, online stores and services using internet. We should be careful sending your personal information like your bank account numbers, credit card numbers, and social security number and password using any unknown site. One time, I was going to send money through online remittance like Xoom and moneygram but I was really meticulous to sign up because I have to give my social security no. for anti-money laundering purposes. I was skeptical about it so I did not pursue. I feel at peace and ease for not signing up and not giving out my detailed info to the sites that I mentioned earlier. Although, those site are secured but I am always meticulous and careful in giving out my info.
However, always use secure websites for this purpose because secure websites safe your private information from others using encryption and some authentication standards. What is Encryption? Encryption is the process of transforming and making information unreadable to unauthorized people. Decryption is the process of converting encrypted data back into its original form and make it readable. Internet Explorer and Firefox always display a small yellow lock icon on the task bar when we open any secure site and start domain name with https:// and padlock icon.
