Fresh veggies

"vegetables"

I really missed eating vegetables. For the last few days, I have been eating more meat. I don’t like the feeling. I feel weak and kind of less active. I don’t know if this is psychological or something. But I feel the effect of eating too much meat. Guess what, my husband bought some Chinese food the other day. The combo meal was a lot. It lasted for two days. Now, the Chinese food was gone. I am really craving for some vegetables like greens, asparagus, broccoli and the like. Nevertheless, I really want to go to Sprouts today. That’s one of my favorite grocery stores here in our town. I can’t wait to go there and grab some fresh organic veggies.

Weta Bug

bugDo you like insects? To me, it depends on the kind of insect. I like grasshoppers, lady bug, and butterflies. You are probably wondering why I am talking about insects in my blog today, well, the world’s largest insect discovered in New Zealand.  A Weta Bug, with a wing span of seven inches and the weight of three mice. Sounds huge for an insect! Weta are usually big by insect standards and some species are among the largest and heaviest in the world. But the weta bug they discovered in New Zealand is the biggest one. Their physical appearance is like along-horned grasshopper or a cricket. The hind legs are huge and usually very spiny. Many are wingless. Weta can bite with powerful mandibles and can inflict painful scratches, which may cause infection.

Thank God It’s Monday!

Today is Monday. Thank God!  I love Mondays. I consider Monday as the first day of the week. Though, I must say that I have a lot of things to do today. But I hope I could at least get some done. I already sweep the floor a while. Then, I am hoping to mop the floor later so my little guy can crawl or play on the floor without getting dirty. My son amazes me every day. He does different stuff. He tries to walk now with a little help. I can see that he’s going to be walking on his own in two or one month. That means, he’s 10 months old at that time. Well, it sounds that I’m going to be busy once he starts walking. Whew! But I think it’s going to be fun!

It’s Thursday

It’s Thursday, where did the time go? It seems that the month of November goes really fast. Don’t you think? Anyhow, I don’t really have plans today. I’m just going to take my little man for a walk later. I’m glad that it’s not cold today, though it’s overcast. It’s nice to go out since the sun is covered by clouds. So, I’m going to take advantage of the weather today. I don’t know about tomorrow but it’s going to rain this weekend according to the weather forecast. I hope it won’t so we could go to the park in Coronado as a family. If it rains, well, we’ll just stay at home and sip a cup of tea or hot chocolate.

Human nature

It was so nice to talk to my friend this morning. I must admit that the story she shared with me was surprising. It did not only surprised me but it also bothered me. I feel sorry for her. I hope she can handle the situation well. I know she’s a strong person, but sometimes, we feel weak and that’s part of human nature. I hope she’d be able to face her situation right now. Actually, I am confused if I’m going to share it with my husband. I know she told that it’s going to be between the two of us. But I don’t want to hide or keep secret from my husband. As a married couple, we promised that we’ll not hide anything from each other. Honestly, I broke this promise. I have a little secret from him. I guess, it’s normal for couples to have some reservations from each other sometimes. Well, do you hide things from your spouse?
