A Count Chocula Costume For The Ages

When trick or treating, it’s important to me to pick a costume that represents something I love. There’s nothing I love more than Count Chocula, at least in the realm of breakfast cereals. The monster trio of cereals has long been one of my favorite Halloween treats, so I often go trick or treating as the one and only Count Chocula himself. This costume required me to get creative and make it myself, using fabric from stores, but it was worth it in the end. I like the idea of getting the most creative costume I can think of.

After a hard night of searching the streets for chocolate, this vampire likes to go back home and watch satellite TV from bestchoicetv.com for the rest of the evening. There are so many great horror movies on around Halloween and that’s what I most love to watch in order to ring in the special season.

Everything I do on Halloween feels like it’s right, even if things don’t go as smoothly as planned or my costume doesn’t turn out as cool as I wanted it to. For me there’s still something magical about trick or treating and I plan to head out there with my kids for as long as they’ll let me, and after that I’ll find some other excuse to roam the streets in search of candy.

Dealing with difficult people

October 23, 2010 · Posted in people · Comment

Dealing with difficult people is hard. That’s why they are called difficult people. Have you experienced dealing with difficult people? How did you deal with them? Difficult people could hurt us. But it says in Luke 6:44-45, “The people we find the most difficult are also those who offer the greatest opportunities for growth.” We should be grateful to God that we are being surrounded with difficult people in order for us to grow and prepare ourselves to heaven. I know it’s hard to deal with kind of people because I myself can be difficult to other people too. We can pray for them but we cannot change them. They may not change but we can let God work on us and accept every opportunity to change and grow.

Halloween is coming up in three weeks. Are you ready for Halloween? Trick or treat? Halloween will be here before you know it! Every kid is excited to wear costumes on Halloween day and of course, to get some candies. Even if I am already an adult, I still participate in this holiday. Last year, I dressed up like a rat. Of course, I got some candies too! It was really enjoyable and amusing to me. I should say that Halloween is such a fun holiday. You and your kids get to dress up like someone else. I see many stores started selling Halloween costumes now. I guess it is about time to purchase a new costume for this event. There are many different styles of Awesome Halloween Costumes to choose from nowadays. You can find scary, sexy, retro, superheroes, and freaky attire for young kids and adults.

It is really great to see people wearing different Halloween costumes. Some people wear costumes for Halloween party while some people wear it for trick or treating. Halloween is not only for getting dressed up but also decorating your backyard with some Halloween accessories. Last year, I see many houses with overwhelming Halloween decorations.

Summer Fun in the Sun

July 30, 2010 · Posted in people · Comment

Thanks for the post from Irving Ayala

This summer my family and I have decided to do a lot more outdoor activities and so far we have been accomplishing them without a hitch. We have been spending more and more time in our above ground pool in the backyard and though I try not to worry about the kids I am always concerned about their safety. They always swim with their goggles to protect their eyes and I make sure my youngest son always have on his little portable floatation devices and his life vest. I feel much better knowing he has it on even though I am always with him in the pool. The other half of our fun time includes building sand castles with the sand around the pool or having water balloon fights in the backyard we also like to take the kids bike riding at our local park and the little ones always wear their helmets and because the sun has been particularly bright this summer we use banana boat sun screen on our arms and legs to block harmful UV rays. My husband suggested we find a California adt dealer and get an alarm system since we have been spending lots of time in the back of the house, which has given me more of a piece of mind. So far we have not had any cases of sunburn and no incidents in the pool.
