Opportunities in life

I want to make more money this year too. I have to strive hard to achieve this goal. There’s nothing impossible if you believe you can do it, right? I hope my online business will prosper. I also want to cut our expenses and minimize buying things that I don’t really need.

Anyhow, I was glad that I was able to talk to my brother today, even just for a few minutes. We hardly talk these days since he lives thousands of miles away from me. I can’t really call him every day on the phone because international long distance call is very expensive. The only way to communicate with him every now and then is through yahoo messenger.  I told him about job opportunities or hiring abroad. He was pretty excited about it and told me that his Horoscope said that he’s going to have a prosperous new year. My brother believes in horoscope, tarot reading, Psychic reading, and stuff like that. But I told him that he should leave everything to God. It’s up to him. I don’t judge people who believes in horoscopes and readings. In fact, I used to get so excited to read my daily horoscopes or find out my life through card reading before. But since I became a Christian, I don’t think of finding these things out anymore. It’s a preference, you know. I just hope and pray that he will find a way to improve his life in terms of finances. I can see that he is excited to find more financial opportunities. I advised him that he should take every opportunities that would come in his life because opportunities knock only once (just like the saying goes. I must admit that I missed some really good opportunities before and I regret not grabbing them when they were still available.

Simple ways to cut expenses

It would be really great if I could save money this year. Last year, me and my husband did out best to pay off our debts. Now, we just owe our house mortgage. It feels so good when you don’t worry too much about your finances. We are hoping to save up money this year. How? Well, we want to cut our expenses.

I know there are many ways to cut household expenses. We can cut our expenses simply on water and electricity, but we have been doing it since then. I can collect some store coupons and use them for shopping.

Anyhow, I also want to start looking for some great deals online. I want to be a smart shopper! I just found out about nomorerack.com. Have you heard of this store? Oh, it was really astonishing how incredibly low their prices are. I researched about nomorerack (that’s what I usually do if I find an online store that’s new to me) and I came across some nomorerack reviews online. I have read up some good and bad reviews about this company, just like any store. There are unhappy and satisfied customers. In fact, there’s a report of nomorerack scam. I read the article, but it didn’t really change my impression about nomorerack. I want to give it a try. It’s like any other store, big or small, popular or not, they can still get bad feedback or criticisms from their customers.

Money matters

How important money is for you? I considered money is one of the important necessities in life. Money matters a lot to me. It’s hard to live without money. Don’t you agree? That’s why it’s very imperative to handle finances well. Unfortunately, there are many people who abused money. They spend more than they should. They don’t live within their means. I know some people who went bankrupt, lost their homes, lost opportunities because of how they handle their finances.

However, there’s always a chance to change this bad habit. For those who are in bankruptcy, you can still save your financial future. Being bankrupt is very disappointing and depressing. I have a friend who actually changed after his experience of bankruptcy. He checked out some Online Bankruptcy courses to know more about finances. And now, he is very cautious and has learned his lesson well. He doesn’t spend more than he earns. He is more disciplined in terms of finances.

As we can see a lot of people lost their homes right now. Part of it is the way they handle their finances. It’s not too late, you can still change your attitude towards money. Start changing your habits now and you will see the difference.
