Recycling papers

Home office and office supplies are useful in keeping your things organized and neat. I keep some office supplies at home and I am always on top of it. I keep some important office supplies neat and usable. I am completely conscious of how costly it can be maintaining office supplies. That’s why I usually buy  ink cartridges, envelopes, etc. in bulk. And I prefer recycled office supplies since they are affordable for many reasons.

It is nice to get involved in eco-friendly products. Paper use leaves damage to the forests and rivers. Wouldn’t be great to contribute something to our environment by recycling some papers like newspaper, paper kitchenware, gift wraps or bags, paper bags, etc. ? Actually, there are many ways you can do with them. Like for example, paper bags – you can use them when you shop at the store, instead of asking plastic bags or another paper bags. Additionally, you can use newspapers in wiping glass panel or mirrors. I personally recycle these things as I hate throwing them away. However, I came across a site dolphinblue.com. Dolphin Blue is a good source of environmentally responsible office supplies. It is the only online source where all products contain recycled content. They carry recycled office and home supplies. And they process office and home supplies by eco-friendly materials. I really like how they participate in nature conservation.

People nowadays are starting to recycle more things especially shopping bags instead of throwing them out. Plastic bags are everywhere. They are inexpensive, light, waterproof, and convenient to carry everywhere for groceries, clothing, electronics, etc. But plastic bags are not good to the environment. They are toxic. It takes hundreds of years for plastic bags to breakdown. Imagine the world is full of plastics and as they decompose, small toxic fragment seep into soils, lakes, rivers, and the oceans. Here in the U.S., there are about 80% of plastic bags use in many shopping stores. Here in Southern California, I just learned grocery stores are going to charge every customer for plastic bags soon. I noticed some people are starting to use tote bags or reusable bags for their groceries. These bags are environmental friendly. I remember when I was a kid; my late grandma would bring tote or reusable bags whenever she goes to the store. She didn’t like plastic bags at all. She thought she couldn’t reuse it since it breaks.

I want to start using reusable bags. Plastic bags add pollution to our environment. I got a big load of plastic bags at home. I really don’t like to just throw them away. I usually recycle them. I really should start using reusable bags. However, Some groceries stores are starting to sell tote bag as part of marketing strategy. I hope all stores will participate on this campaign. Reusable bags are more environmental friendly. Let’s stop using plastic bags. Go green and say no to plastic bags!
