June 25th, 2009I could hardly believe Michael Jackson died today. I thought it was a joke so I searched on the net I found some news about this heartbreaking news. I was really shocked. For some reasons, it saddened me. The 50-year old King of Pop died this afternoon, (Thursday) in a Los Angeles hospital. He wasn’t breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m. though; the paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center. Michael Jackson was considered as the most exciting performer of his generation. I really love his songs. I think he was one of the best performer and music artists of all mankind.
Auditorium Organ

This is the Convention Hall Auditorium Organ. I amazed by it that’s why I featured it here. It is the pipe organ in the Main Auditorium (which can seat 41,000 people in the main auditorium) of the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, built by the Midmer-Losh Organ Company. The great hall is part of the world’s largest pipe organ. The organ has 33,112 pipes in 455 ranks, including a full-length 64 foot Diaphone Profunda, ten 32 foot ranks, and manual and pedal reeds that are under 100 inches of wind pressure, while most organs never exceed 10 inches of pressure. It is said that it takes 4 1/2 hours to tour the entire organ. What a bizarre instrument! Isn’t it? But I would to see this instrument in person. Well, I’ll put this in my list-to go.

October 31st, 2008I love this song, ” Captain of her Heart” by Double since I was in primary or elementary school. It was song popular in 1986 and became a radio classic hit since then. I never get tired of listening to this song. It is a great song! The band Double is originally known as Ping Pong, Double – it was a Swiss Duo – Kurt Maloo for vocals & guitar and Felix Haug for drums & keyboard. Their latest album is called “Blue and Double”.
