It is Friday. I am glad about it. The month of May is almost over. Wow, time runs fast. It will be June next week. It seems like April was just yesterday. Well, summer is really in the air! It is getting hotter these days. I should always protect my skin from the sun and double my sunscreen. And you know hot weather always means outdoor activities. Sounds fun huh? But we could also possibly encounter heat-related illness. Here are some things we should consider this summertime:
- We should wear lightweight, light-colored clothing. Don’t you know that light colors will reflect away some of the sun’s energy? However, wear hats or to use an umbrella.
- Drink water or juice with you if you do not feel thirsty. Avoid alcohol and caffeine, which can dehydrate the body.
- Stay indoors when possible.
- And lastly don’t forget to wear sunblock with high SPF.
