Are you fond of collecting stamps? A stamp collector in Berlin, Germany, found a rare stamp portraying movie star Audrey Hepburn smoking. In 2001, Germany printed 14 million stamps as part of a series of movie stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, and Greta Garbo. Sean Ferrer, Audrey Hepburn’s son refused to grant copyright because of Hepburn holding cigarette holder hanging from her mouth. Consequentially, the government destroyed the stamps. However, advance copies of the Hepburn stamps were sent Deutsche Post at that time. That’s how this stamp collector got the rare stamp. Now, the stamp is on auction starting at minimum bid of 30,000 Euro or US$41,959.
