Today is the deadline of filing federal income and state taxes. The deadline is here. Don’t forget to file your returns today. I guess, most of you already received and cashed your refund check. Honestly, we just filed our 1040 today. I went to the post office today. I was glad that the line was not bad at all. We lagged for a couple of months. My husband and I were not motivated to do it. So, if you are like me, you have to send your returns to the post office before midnight. Most post offices are open until midnight. In case, you can’t make it today, you should file an automatic six months extension to avoid penalties. But this is for those who don’t owe taxes. But if you owe taxes you should file it today.
