It’s October! Yes, today is the first day of October. We are getting closer to December. I could hardly believe that time actually flies so fast. We are approaching the Autumn season. The word October was derived from the Greek word “octo”, which means “eight”.It is the tenth of month of the Gregorian Calendar. It used to be the eight month of the Roman or Julian Calendar which started in March. Then became the tenth month when January and February were added.
