I am going to be out of town for two weeks on October. We are going to have a vacation. We’re going to visit my husband’s folks. It has been two years already since the last time we went there. I am kinda excited about this vacation because I like Oregon so much. It is a green place. Though, I am not so hot on the climate. We went to Mt. Hood and checked out some falls last time. I don’t know if we are going to do these things again. We’ll see. So, I am gonna be gone for two weeks. I’ll miss dropping off some Entrecards but I will catch up later.

September 30th, 2008Burj Al Arab Hotel
September 27th, 2008Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai is one of the 7-star most expensive and luxurious hotels in the world. The Burj Al Arab stands erect at 333 m (1,090 ft) on an artificial island 280 metres (919 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It is a design to symbolize Dubai’s urban transformation and to mimic the sail of a boat. I like the architecture of the hotel and the concept of artificial island. Moreover, it is one of the most expensive hotels in the world. The price of staying in a suite starts at $1,000 per night and the Royal Suite is the most expensive, at $28,000 per night. Wow! that is super expensive. Only millionaires can afford to stay there.

Google PR Updates
September 27th, 2008I was surprised when my friend told me about Google PR updates. I thought that’s going to happen next month. My Firefox browser doesn’t have Google Toolbar. That’s why I didn’t know until I was told. I got PR1. Not bad, though it is close to zero. It is better than nothing! I was glad and thankful to God about it as I did not expect that this blog would get PR right away considering it is less than 2 months in age. I am hoping and praying that I will get more PR in the coming months as I want to monetize this blog.

Gino Vanelli
September 19th, 2008I would like to share a video of Gino Vanelli singing one of my favorite songs “It hurts to be in love”. I also like his other songs such as “Living inside myself” and “I just wanna stop”. Gino Vanelli is a great singer. Gino Vanelli is an Italian-Canadian music artist. He started his career in the 70’s. Check out this live video (slow version of It hurts…) that I embedded from you tube.
Which do you think is better, the older version or this version?
