When starting a new blog, you have to do a lot of things to publicize it on the net. One of them is to place Alexa widget in your blog. Alexa is a web information company that provides traffic report for websites. It actually measures web traffic on sites. It is very important and vital for bloggers, like me, to have a good Alexa rank, especially if you want to monetize your site. Because it will elevate and increase your monetizing power when it comes to advertising worth. As of now, I don’t have any record. I hope I’ll get one soon. I will discuss more about alexa later…

August 15th, 2008I just added this blog to my Technorati Profile . I added a Technorati widget here yesterday. I don’t have any record yet. I hope I’ll get Authority rank sooner. Well, this site is new, I just made this last week. I just have to manually ping this site so it will be recognized by Technorati. Sigh!
My site is cached by Google
August 13th, 2008I haven’t visited this site for a week. I got busy with my other sites and plus, I was a bit frustrated about uploading themes here. But thank God, I now know how to upload themes here through my file manager. I want to add this site to the Google Webmaster Tools. I was pretty amazed that this site was cached by Google. A cache is where Google takes a snapshot of each webpage it examines and caches or stores that version. It is a back up copy of a webpage. This is very useful and helpful if a web page is not unavailable.
I finally figured it out
August 13th, 2008I finally figured out how to upload Wordpress themes on my FTP. I download the themes then I did not unzip it. I went to my File Manager, then I opened public-html. I looked for the wp-content; there I saw themes folder so I opened it. Then, I uploaded the themes. And it was successful. I was very happy about it.

August 6th, 2008Since, I am using WordPress format, I still don’t know how to put or upload more Word press themes in this site. I posted this problem at 000webhost.com forum and I got a reply. I followed the advice but it did not work. I Downloaded the theme. I unzipped the file, then I did “copy and paste ” the entire folder. But it didn’t work. So I tried to upload the zip file but it said that “the style sheet is missing”. I don’t know and I can’t figure it out. It is frustrating. Oh, well, what can I get from a free web hosting? right? I hope I can solve this problem sooner..
